Dr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix

Dr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix is originally from Lameque, New Brunswick. Following his undergraduate science studies at Université de Moncton, he received his DMD dentistry diploma from Université de Montréal in 1982. 

He then practiced general family dentistry in his solo practice for 9 years in Dalhousie, NB followed by a specialty residency in Periodontics in Halifax, NS at Dalhousie University, from which he graduated in 1993. He then established his specialty practice in Dieppe, NB, in periodontics and dental implants. In 1995, the growth of the practice brought the construction of the present modern clinic. 

He was Chairman of the Advisory Committee for the Dental Assisting Program and the School of Dental Hygiene at Oulton's Business College in Moncton. He has also been engaged in organized dentistry with the North Shore Dental Society, acted as President of the Moncton Dental Society, was a professor of Periodontics at Dalhousie University and has sat on the provincial Dental Board as a Moncton Representative and as the Minister of Health. 

Dr. Lacroix is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Canadian Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, the Academy of OsseoIntegration and the Corporation Hospitalière Beauséjour. 

With more than twenty five years experience as an implant surgeon, Dr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix is still very active in his continuing education, staying abreast of the new developments in this rapidly evolving field. Treatment planning being the most important key to success, his philosophy has always been to minimize trauma and the extent of treatment in order to obtain treatment goals and long lasting aesthetic results. 

Dr. Lacroix has two children and loves to travel. He resides in Moncton with his wife Ginette who owns and operates Laser Looks. 

Dr. Bruce Edwards

Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Dr. Bruce Edwards completed dental school at Dalhousie University in Halifax, followed by 2 years of private practice in general dentistry. Three years later, he then completed his periodontal residency at the University of Michigan. His graduate research focused on methods for improving the accuracy of Cone Beam CT scanner based surgical implant guides. He then practiced periodontics and implantology in Saskatchewan and Michigan before taking ownership of Atlantic Implants and Periodontics in 2019. 

Dr. Bruce Edwards is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Surgery, a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada and a member of the Moncton Dental Society and the New Brunswick Dental Society. He is experienced with all aspects of periodontal and implant therapy, including hard and soft tissue regeneration. Dr. Bruce Edwards is also proficient in I.V. sedation. 

Dr. Edwards’ interests are football, hockey, water sports and spending time in the outdoors with his wife Stephanie, their son Thomas and 2 dogs, Finnegan and Woodson. They're very happy to be back in the Maritimes closer to family and friends and settling down into the community here in Dieppe.
