Meet Our Caring Dieppe, NB Periodontal Team

Our team is made of a skilled periodontist and his team, and we proudly work alongside your dentist or other specialists to help you achieve your smile goals.

Mylène

Dental Hygienist

Mylène graduated from the Cégep de Trois-Rivières in 2007. Since then, she worked in her home town of Edmundston until she made the move to Moncton in 2012. She’s been working at Atlantic Implants and Periodontics since 2017. Mylène loves spending her free time with family and spending time outdoors. 


Chelsea

Dental Assistant

After graduating from Southern Victoria High School in 2014, Chelsey attended Oulton College in Moncton, NB. Upon graduating as a Level 2 Assistant in 2015, she started out in Oromocto NB, before receiving her position with us in 2017. She is a member of the Dental Assistant Association. Her duties consist of providing a steady flow to the office, assisting the doctors chairside as well as preparing treatment plans for the patients.


Mylène

Treatment Coordinator / Receptionist

Mylène graduated from the Université de Moncton in 2010. As well as studying in Nursing, she ventured on her own into entrepreneurship in 2015. She moved back to Moncton in the summer of 2016 and gladly joined our team in October as Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist to add new challenges to her very busy schedule. She is mainly responsible for greeting patients and coordinating the patients’ appointments with the doctors. In her free time she remains very busy with travels, managing her online business and following her passions as a nail technician and artist painting on canvas. 


Melanie

Hygiene Coordinator / Receptionist

Melanie graduated in 2004 at the New Brunswick Community College in Dieppe. She worked in the public service until she joined our team in 2014. She is responsible for coordinating hygiene appointments for our dental hygienists. She greets and assists patients and assures effective schedules which allow dental professionals to concentrate on patient care and dental treatments.


Stephanie

Professional Relationship Director

Originally from Fredericton NB, Stephanie attended the Université de Moncton to complete her degree in Nutrition. She then attended the Dental Hygiene program at Dalhousie University in Halifax. She worked as a Dental Hygienist for over 6 years in Cape Breton and Saskatchewan. She joined our office as an administrative assistant in 2019. On her free time she loves spending time outdoors with her family and her dogs.


Denise

Nurse

Denise’s role at Atlantic Implants and Periodontics is that of Sedation Nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University, her Honors Diploma in Nursing from Miss AJ MacMaster School of Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing from UNB Fredericton and recently earned her CNeoN(C) in Neonatology through the Canadian Nurses Association. Denise has 23 years nursing experience that includes: critical care nursing, flight nursing, Tele-health and instructorship roles at NBCC. She currently works as a Certified Neonatal Nurse as well as being a valued part of our sedation team for the last 8 years. 


Carole

General Manager / Financial Coordinator

Carole holds two bachelor degrees from the Université de Moncton, Moncton, NB, one in Translation and the second in Secondary Education.She taught French Immersion for five years in Alberta before moving back to New Brunswick where she then helped Dr. Lacroix, from the very beginning in 1993, open his new practice in periodontics. She has been performing the duties of General Manager and Financial Coordinator since 2000.


Christine

Head Dental Hygienist

Christine studied in Health Sciences at the Université de Moncton, NB before attending Holland College in Charlottetown, PE in 1992 where she received her Assistant Level 2 diploma. She worked as a dental assistant for two years and went on to further her education at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS in the Dental Hygiene Program, graduating in 1996. She has been working in our office since that time. Christine is in charge of supervising the dental hygiene team. Along with the remainder of the staff, she regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up to date with new studies and technology in the dental field.


Charmaine

Dental Hygienist

After graduating in 1995 from Dalhousie University's Dental Hygiene Program, Charmaine spent the first five years between private practice and the public health sector in Nova Scotia. She then practiced for the next six years in Calgary, AB working in a progressive dental clinic and taking a variety of continuing education courses including the administration of local anaesthesia. She was able to move back east in 2006 and has been working with us since 2007.
